According to Majestic America Line the US Coast Guard has closed the Ohio River just north of Paducah, KY, until further notice making it necessary to re-route the Delta Queen originally scheduled for a Nashville to Cincinnati cruise. This cruise starting on June 28 at Nashville will now go to Chattanooga instead. The July 1 cruise will start at Chattanooga instead of Cincinnati and will end at Memphis as originally planned where the Delta Queen will return to her regular schedule.
American Queen
American Queen cruises on the Upper Mississippi River starting June 28, July 5 and July 12 had also been re-scheduled earlier this week, due to the high water and flooding situation on the Upper Mississippi River. So far the information for the American Queen ist that she'll go to the Ohio River instead, but it's unclear how these plans are being effected by the Ohio River closure forcing the Delta Queen to re-route.
