Rep. Oberstar deleting negative comments on YouTube

Rep. James Oberstar obviously has deleted 9 negative comments that had been posted in response to his speech in the House of Representatives on April 24, 2008 on YouTube (see video below). Just in case Mr. Oberstar decides to even delete the whole video, you'll find another copy of the video on YouTube.

Hello all,

This time I am going to include a little known parody song from the Entertainment Staff (who will go un named) of the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN back in late 1994. It is interesting to reflect on their thoughts here as the new AMERICAN QUEEN was with in 6 months of her first sailings and they were thinking about their futures.

Having been on the last passenger sailing of the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN, I thought this would be a good time to reflect on that experience.

I returned this past weekend to New Orleans for the first time in over 25 years. I played the typical tourist and took a ride on the steamboat Natchez for a glimpse of the city and to partially re-live the memories of when I worked and lived upon the MQ a lifetime ago. I was shocked and saddened to hear from the narrator of the demise of the MQ and even had sight of her in the distance as she sat broken down at a wharf on the West Bank.

Goldenrod Showboat

Hi, I am new to this site and not quite sure how to use it yet but I just wanted everyone to know that there is a major effort going on as we speak to save the Goldenrod Showboat. Steve DeBellis heads a nonprofit org. called the Historic Riverboat Preservation Association in St. Louis, Mo. He is working many long hours to save this gem.
