Riverboats for Sale

I am considering starting an Excursion Riverboat business. I am currently looking for a riverboat to purchase. I had considered trying to build one, but I don't have the knowledge to attempt this on my own. If anyone knows of a boat, preferably at least 100 passenger vessel, please let me know. Thanks

How bout the Julia Belle Swain, laid up at LaCrosse WI. I've heard that she might be for sale. However, I don't know who the owner is or where to contact him. Pehaps someone of this board has that information or knows for sure if she is available.

The owner of the JUILA BELLE SWAIN is Bob Kalhagen of Milwaukee, WI. He is very interested in offers for the boat. Rumor has it he is pretty interested in offloading her now. So price could be negotiated a little easier than this time last year. She is a real steamboat and is licensed to carry 249 pax. 127'x27'3'. She needs work...lots of it. But cosmetically, she's ready to roll! Plan on $250,000-500,00 to get her running in work. She is overdue for a USCG 5 year inspection. That said, she is a AUTHENTIC steamboat and will have a draw other "riverboats" won't! There are MANY diesel riverboats available right now...both paddlewheel driven and prop. I don't have a list...but, I know of quite alot of them. Feel free to contact me and I will let you know more about them if you are interested.
