The Courier-Journal "Indiana Weekly" supplement carried a fine two page article yesterday on the 50th anniversary of the Howard Steamboat Museum. Besides the nice story, several large color photos and a listing of upcoming events were included.
In other news, affable steamboat engineer/museum board member Kenny Howe was appointed chairman of the exhibits committee at the January board meeting -- MUCH to the delight of this curator. Those who missed Kenny's great talk (with fascinating slides) at the museum last fall for a meeting of the MOR S&D chapter will get another chance, as he will be the speaker for the annual S&D meeting in September.
