Anybody having any idea which shipyard would be able to build a river cruise ship?

The current fleet of longships is built at Neptun warf in Rostock/Warnemünde. Neptun belongs to Meyer in Papenburg (where they build the ocean going cruise ships - last one was the Norwegian Breakaway). Meyer won´t be happy to see that the plans and drawings might end up in a US wharf.

Nice is the wording that the vessel "will" be built in a US shipyard. I´d say it "must" be built... according to the Passenger Vessel Service Act plus the Merchant Marine Act (aka Jones Act) it must be built in the US, owned by US company/people, flagged US, manned by US crew (or permanent residents).

BTW any ideas where the River Explorer ended up? I assume it´s still for sale.
