Those sure do look like Reese engines to me, but what boat is anyone's guess. She had a riveted steel hull, but Reese was famous for its steel hull boats. The only other clues that I can come up with is that the boat probably stopped by Marietta once. I'm guessing that the pic was taken by S. Durwood Hoag of the Hotel LaFayette fame.

Although the engines look to be about the same as the BELLE OF LOUISVILLE's the ship up jack is different and it's counter-weight is on the wrong side of the foot box. The engineroom bells are not where they are now on the BELLE either. Also an important thing that rules out an early IDLEWILD photo is that she had an asphalt covered main deck, the boat in the photo does not.
