Quick Note...
A quick note that I failed to mention is that Mr. Bowman is finishing my uncle Robert Thomas' final model that was left unfinished save some key details. My uncle Bob was working on the model and would be his last due to becoming ill and passing away in a Columbus hospital.
The model has been in my family since his passing along with many other items from uncle Bob. I was given the model by my great grandfather Reuben Thomas who was Bob's brother. After more than thirty years, this model will finally be finished as Uncle Bob had wanted it. It will be on display at the Monroe County River Museum once it is finished.
The model is of the Eisenbarth and Henderson's "Modern Temple of Amusement." It is almost five foot in length. I must add here that my thanks and sincere gratitude go to Mr. Bowman for completing my model. He stated that it will take him a month or so before returning it to me. Until then, patience is a virtue...
