I had the privilege of spending time with the Harveys when they rode the AQ. His son Paul is something like 6' 6" tall, and the bulit- in foot board in thier AAA suite was a problem. I donated the mattress from my crew room, which we placed on top of his and elevated him above the sutuation. The MQ was turning over in St. Louis the day the cruise ended, and the Harveys really wanted to see the MQ, so I rode with them in their limo & gave them the grand tour. He was one of the most gracious folks I've ever met... and a few weeks later a note from him arrived at my house, thanking me for the bed & tour... along with a Bose radio. So now... at least as far as Steamboatin' goes... you know "the rest of the story"... farewell to a true American legend.
